I am very concerned for our young children and what is happening to them. While reading the news I came across another act of violence towards two innocent girls and it seems as if this violence is getting out of control. Their lives are being taken from them in unnecessary murders, careless supervision, or they are the ones killing others. I can't continue to watch this any longer. Every time I see this I pray for those children and it brings tears to my eyes. What happened to putting God first, and keeping him in your life as well as our Blessed Mother, Mary? Instead, evil has taken over so many lives and the only way to stop this is by prayer. Please help me by praying to eliminate this evil that continues to take the lives of our children in more than one way. Below are three different prayers to recite to Saint's so they watch over and guide our children.

Prayer to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga

Dear Christian youth, you were a faithful follower of Christ in the Society of Jesus. You steadily strove for perfection while generously serving the plague-stricken. Help our youth today who are faced with a plague of false cults and false gods. Show them how to harness their energies and to use them for their own and others' fulfillment - which will redound to the greater glory of God. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Dominic Savio

Dear Saint Dominic, you spent your short life totally for love of Jesus and His Mother. Help youth today to realize the importance of God in their lives. You became a saint through fervent participation in the sacraments, enlighten parents and children to the importance of frequent confession and Holy Communion. At a young age you meditated on the sorrowful Passion of Our Lord. Obtain for us the grace of a fervent desire to suffer for love of Him.

We desperately need your intercession to protect today's children from the snares of the world. Watch over them and lead them on the narrow road to Heaven. Ask God to give us the grace to sanctify our daily duties by performing them perfectly out of love for Him. Remind us of the necessity of practicing virtue especially in times of trial.

Saint Dominic Savio, you who preserved your Baptismal innocence of heart, pray for us.

Novena Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael, watch over us during life, defend us against the assaults of the demon, and assist us especially at the hour of death. Help us achieve the happiness of beholding God face to face for all eternity. Amen.

Saint Michael, intercede for me with God in all my necessities, especially {mention special petition}. Obtain for me a favorable outcome in the matter I recommend to you. Mighty prince of the heavenly host, and victor over rebellious spirits, remember me for I am weak and sinful and so prone to pride and ambition. Be for me, I pray, my powerful aid in temptation and difficulty, and above all do not forsake me in my last struggle with the powers of evil. Amen.
