Judah Ben-Hur, a

of the Romans
empire and the
time of Christ.
Falsely accused,
Judah is sent to
row for his life
on a Roman war
ship. A
strange set of
events leads Juda to freedom
and he returns
home to find his
family.
Upon his return,
Judah is told
his mother and
sister are dead
having also been
cast into
prison. Judah's
heart now filled
with hatred,
seeks vengeance
against his
accusers. Hate
consumes him
till the love of
a slave girl and
a miracle given
him by Christ,
gives him the
peace and
happiness he
longs for. Heston's performance
won him the
Best Actor
Oscar. Ben Hur

Best Picture. Legendary
