This report concerns chemical analysis of two samples of oil obtained from Linda Santo. Sample No.1 was collected from a golden chalice, end No.2 from the Head of Christ, both located in Audrey's room.. The sarnples were sent to the Antlytical Laboratory of Kraft Food Ingredients in Memphis, Tenn. The oil samples were analysed for fatty acids by gas chromatography using Perkin-Elmer Auto System. The content of four major fatty acids (16:x;?=palmitic; 16:1=oleic; 18:2=linoleic; 16:3=linolenic acids) in two oil samples and in edible oils are presented in the following Table.

The results of this analysis demonstrates that: 1. the Samples 1 and 2 differ not only in a chemical composition but in a shade of yellow color and fragrance; 2. fatty acid content of the samples of oils obtained from Linda Santo are different from any of the commercially available oils. It has, therefore, been concluded that the oils collected from the chalice and the Head of Christ are of unexplainable origin.

REPORT No.2

This report concerns an unusual phenomenon observed by me at Audrey's home. When I visited her on Saturday December 4, 1993, I had a closer look at various Holy objects which ooze some kind of fragrant oil. It was about. 2 PM when I saw a drop of oil being formed at the base of Christ Head. The drop could be seen because the Head is placed on a deep plate so that the . base does not touch the bottom of the plate. It seemed like someone have just poured some oil over the figure. If it was the case, one would expect the whole sculpture being covered with oil, but the contrary was true. Only the base was oozing oil.

 

I have also witnessed another, even more striking phenomenon. A golden. chalice allegedly fills itself with oil. Outside surface of the chalice is, however, completely dry except the base. About a half of an inch from the bottom of the base a clear borderline can be seen from which oil is oozing from the metal. I have never seen anything like that in my life.

 

A third object I have visually examined was a framed image of Christ Head covered with glass. The Holy Face of this image is covered with oily substance, and droplets of oil can be seen on an inside golden frame. No sign of any oil is visible on the cardboard back of the image.

 

I have also determined that the oil samples given to me by Linda decomposed at a temperature characteristic for olive oil.
