Take one look at the world we live in today and its clear things are a mess. Medjugorje USA believes there is little if no hope left for this world if not for the Mercy of God. We believe the Divine Mercy Chaplet Devotion given to Saint Faustina, is the means by which this world can still be saved. Sad to say a countless number of Catholic’s still have never heard of St. Faustina or the 3:00 p.m. Divine Mercy Devotion. Sadder yet is the fact that very few parishes are offering this very important devotion.
Medjugorje USA’s Divine Mercy Mission is designed to get this devotional said in more churches throughout the world. We are calling on anyone reading this now to approach your parish priest and ask him to please offer the Divine Mercy devotion for the sake of this world which is in deep trouble.
Medjugorje USA is not asking for a daily 3:00 p.m. devotion, though this is what is recommended. We are asking only that one day a week your parish offers a Mercy Chaplet.
We all know our priests are very busy. So, Medjugorje USA is recommending the day parish priests consider is Saturday. Most all churches have a Saturday evening Mass that start at 4:00 pm. Prior to Saturday evening Mass most parishes offer confession. So our recommendation is to offer the Mercy Chaplet prior to confession on Saturday’s.
This would least effect the time our priest have, so it is possible they can join this devotional. However if your parish priest is not available at this time, it is perfectly fine if a member of the parish and all those wishing to say the devotion
do so with or without the presence of the parish priest. You parish priest could post this devotional in the parishes bulletin, or announce it during Mass.
If you
will approach your parish priest with this request and he accepts, Medjugorje
USA will send your parish this free 19”x 24” picture of the Divine Mercy, which
should be displayed when saying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, as Jesus recommended
to Saint Faustina.
Please consider how important the Mercy of God is and without us asking for His Mercy how will we obtain it? We by this small act and sacrifice can be instrumental in changing the current course this world is headed.
Please note that Medjugorje USA will only send the picture of the Divine Mercy to mailing addresses of Parishes. We do not ship this picture to individuals. Because this mission in just underway, currently we can only offer the picture to parishes in the U.S. We hope this does not discourage those of you in other countries from talking to your parish priest about the Divine Mercy Devotion. Medjugorje USA hope that in the future we will be able to afford the cost of shipping the picture outside the U.S.
