Just before the 30th Anniversary of the Medjugorje apparitions a source was able to visit Medjugorje and look through the archives of the Parish of St. James. In the archives the follow interesting statistics stood out.

• Medjugorje has been visited 590,000 times by priest, bishops and cardinals. These are only the ones who registered. Source also reports that there are 410,000 priest in the whole Catholic Church as of June 2011.

• In the month of May 2011 alone 4,010 priest were in Medjugorje with apx 195 celebrating daily Mass.

• 195,500 Holy Communions were distributed in May 2011.

• Since 1985 when St. James first started to calculate, 27 million communions have been distributed in Medjugorje since May 2011.

• 532 healings with complete medical documentation has been submitted into the archives.

• In 2010 St. James archives collected data on 520 known religious vocations from 35 countries.  Example of some vocations up to May 2011, 123 nuns and 110 Italian priests, 85 American, 36 German, 30 Irish and 26 Austrians, etc.

• The Youth Festival which takes place in July each year brings in 50,000 young people not including many young priests.

• Most converts came from the Protestant Churches.

• A Franciscan Colleague of our Source said to the source, "Nobody (priest, nuns, religious) who came to Medjugorje went back home the same."

• The annual 5 day retreat for priests brings about 300 priests each year to Medjugorje.

• The annual retreat for married couples is noted as being extraordinary.

• Mother's Village (which helps orphan children in Medjugorje) is noted as being an amazing place.

• Community Cenacolo (where young people are healed from drug use) is the most successful drug treatment program in the world.

• Medjugorje Radio program is being heard throughout Europe, North America and even Africa.
