Is Medjugorje the Sequel to Fatima

This is a long article and at times it may seem confusing. In the end, the article will come together. This article connects sections of the Fatima apparition messages together with messages from Medjugorje apparitions. In addition, some scripture will be added into the mix to strengthen the conviction of these findings. The article will also show how events in history such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the assassin attempt on Pope John Paul II life, all play a role. In conclusion this article will offer sound evidence that Medjugorje is the fulfillment of the apparition prophecies to 3 small poor uneducated children from Fatima, Portugal in 1917.

Note: in the article below I never capitalize satan’s name, I do this knowingly, he is not worthy of such respect.

Is there a link between Fatima and Medjugorje yet to be revealed? A Medjugorje message from the Virgin Mary aks "The Queen of Peace," say's "yes" but the two apparitions seem at opposite ends. Fatima is an approved apparition but Medjugorje is controversial and remains a media frenzy with a whirlwind of negativity. Among 30 years of Medjugorje revelry of those who stand opposed, rests a peaceful multitude of faithful believers, who delight in Medjugorje with every breath. Events in this once remote mountain village, today breeds what many see as an infestation of gift shops and hotels; calling Medjugorje, “Our Lady of foreign currency”. Regardless of the negativity some see, others say the Medjugorje apparitions continue, making them the longest public unexplained heavenly phenomena in the history of the Church and the world.

In a poor village in Portugal, 3 small children claimed visitations by the Virgin Mary. The apparitions lasted for six month. The children were given 3 secret messages. The last Fatima apparition took place on Oct 13, 1917, keeping a promise offered by the Heavenly Lady on May 13, 1917, of a miracle for all to witness. On that rainy day in October, all of a sudden the sun appeared. Thousands watched the unusual rotation of the sun as it danced in the sky.The sun jumped around and descended on the people. Many feared the end of the world was at hand. Moments later, the sun returned to its natural place and the earth drenched from heavy rain was completely dry, as was the clothing of the thousands in attendance. A number of deadly and debilitating healings also took place during the Fatima miracles on October 13. One healing is that of a known to be paralyzed boy who lived in Fatima, often treated by the local doctor.

Portugal was a growing communist country in 1917, when secular news reporters wrote articles of the unexplained Fatima phenomenon. These published news articles by secular communist unbelievers, attest to the validity of what became known as, “The miracle of the sun.” The Fatima children also predicted a great war with powerful evil forces at work in Russia. People laughed with disbelief. Russia was so poor it could not afford to feed its own people. Yet with spoils of World War II, Russia became one of the most powerful nations on earth. The predictions of the Fatima children all came true, as did the 3 secrets entrusted to them by a beautiful Lady who called herself, “The Lady of the Rosary.” The Fatima secrets were written down by Fatima seer Lucia dos Santos, at the insistence of obedience by Bishop Dom Jose Correia da Silva. The Fatima secrets are kept in the Vatican archives. The final secret was announced per order of Pope John Paul II on May 13, 2000, after the secret came true.

In June 1981, six children claimed they were receiving visitations by the Virgin Mary. Mary calls herself, “The Queen of Peace.” The children (now adults) still claim they are receiving a series of 10 secrets which are warnings and punishments (chastisements) to the world. Once all visionaries have received their secrets, the chastisements will be announced (one at a time) by a chosen priest, (Fr. Petar) just prior to each event taking place. To date, 3 visionaries have received all 10 secrets and 3 visionaries have received 9, needing only one more secret each. The third event or secret is said to be something indescribable that will take place at the first Medjugorje apparition site. It is said, the phenomenon will be so powerful it will be the cause of worldwide conversions. The phenomenon will stand as witness forever and ever.

Regardless of this miraculous gift of conversion which will stand forever, because sin will continue in the world, more difficult and horrible unimaginable secrets will be revealed in forms of punishments. On a positive note, it is impossible to make account of the many positive miracles still happening in Medjugorje, both physically, spiritually and in group settings or individual experiences. Offering just a few examples here, photos have been taken that are full of heavenly images, rosary findings in silver color turn to a gold color in an instant and apparitions appear out of the blue, many similar in nature as the “miracle of the sun,” in Fatima.

In the brief history of these two apparitions, we do see similarities. Both were poor villages and the apparitions took place to children and not adults. Miraculous events also took or still take place. Often, events in Medjugorje are very similar in nature as “the miracle of the sun” in Fatima. In both apparitions, the visionaries are given secrets which in proper time will be revealed to the world. The secrets for both Fatima and Medjugorje are prophecies of future events. All the Fatima secrets came true but we still await the curtain to open on the Medjugorje secrets. So, despite the fact it seems there are many divisions between Medjugorje believers and unbelievers, there are many noticeable similarities between Medjugorje which remains unapproved and Fatima which the Church has approved.

The Queen of Peace in Medjugorje has given thousands of messages to the visionaries. For many years now, messages are given to the world through Medjugorje visionary, Mirija on the 25^th of each month and visionary Mirjana on the 2^nd of each month. An unaccountable number of messages have been given through the years. We will explore just a few messages that are related to the topic of this article.

In regard to the Fatima apparitions, the Queen of Peace who visits Medjugorje says,

"Dear Children! Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when my plan has begun to be realized. satan is strong and wants to sweep away my plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not strong in His decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children, to pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to self-renunciation for nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled. I call you, dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized. Thank you for having responded to my call."

We find in above Medjugorje message, “The Queen of Peace” asks for prayers. In the first Fatima apparition on May 13, 1917, “The Lady of the Rosary” said, “Pray the Rosary, every day, in order to obtain peace for the world.” The similarities are near identical as, in the Fatima message (May 13, 1917) Mary asks we pray to obtain peace for the world and now since 1981 Mary comes to the world as “The Queen of Peace.” Is the “Queen of Peace” from Medjugorje, the promise of Fatima if we faithfully pray the Rosary? Is Our Lady "The Queen of Peace" here today to bring peace to hearts and minds? Her August 25, 1991 message say's, "I want to save all souls and present them to God." A soul saved is at peace and Mary Queen of Peace may well be just what every soul needs. If this process is completed, Mary can present "ALL SOULS" to God. The reality is, if souls are saved, peace follows.

In Fatima, “The Lady of the Rosary asked the children, “Do you wish to offer yourselves to God in order to accept all the suffering he wishes to send you, in reparation for the sin and for the conversion of sinners? (Children reply) Yes, we are willing. (Lady) Than you will suffer much but the grace of God will be your comfort.” This message from Fatima again shows the similar patterns between Fatima and Medjugorje. Beyond similarity in the Medjugorje message, The Queen of Peace herself say’s, Medjugorje is an extension, continuation and or a fulfillment of Fatima. In the Medjugorje message, fulfillment would seem the better word as the Queen of Peace says, “…I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled." This statement leaves nothing to the imagination. Clearly Our Lady is saying, Medjugorje is the fulfillment of the secrets of Fatima.

However, the above paragraph seems to create a dilemma. The Vatican claims it released the final Fatima secret (in full) in 2000 after the assassin attempt and recovery of John Paul. The 3rd released Fatima secret does not seem to have any direct connection to Medjugorje in anyway. The 3rd Fatima message deal more with the assassin attempt on John Paul ll. The shooter was caught! Authorities later discovered the shooter was sent by the Russian government. The Russian government wanted John Paul dead because he was an outspoken critic against Russia. So, the attack against John Paul was considered the fulfillment of the 3rd secret of Fatima. The fulfillment of the 3rd secret lead John Paul to consider a message given to the Fatima seers which say's, Russia needed to be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart to stop its evils. It took the Vatican many years to consecrate Russia after Our Lady's request in Fatima (1917.) Finally John Paul obeyed the request to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (Note: I will discuss Russia's changes later in this article in a more appropriate place.)

What can be said here about John Paul and Medjugorje is, Alfred Kingon, (a well know American political figure) publicly announced at a Medjugorje Conference that John Paul stated, he did not himself save Poland but Mary and Medjugorje did. What we do know, regardless of the salvation of Poland, there is no question once consecrated, Russia changed the path of evil ways, as the Fatima Children predicted. Still the 3rd secret of Fatima seems to have no connection to Medjugorje...

Beyond the August 25^th message above, in June of the same year, the Medjugorje monthly message in 1991 says,

"Dear children! Today on this great day which you have given to me, I desire to bless all of you and to say: these days while I am with you are days of grace. I desire to teach you and help you to walk the way of holiness. There are many people who do not desire to understand my messages and to accept with seriousness what I am saying. But you I therefore call and ask that by your lives and by your daily living you witness my presence. If you pray, God will help you to discover the true reason for my coming. Therefore, little children, pray and read the Sacred Scriptures so that through my coming you discover the message in Sacred Scripture for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

We first see in this message that Our Lady desires to teach and help people to walk in holiness and She tells us many are not living the messages seriously. This tells us living the messages are a path to holiness. She tells us “If you pray, God will help you to discover the true reason of my coming.” We know from previous messages that Her coming is (at least in part) to bring peace to the world and to save all souls. The Virgin tells us that our prayers, fasting and renunciation can be offered as sacrifices, to help accomplish these goals. Another clue emerges here as the Virgin in the Medjugorje message above tells us, "God will help us discover the true reason for Her coming and with prayer we will discover the message in Sacred Scripture” for you (us).” This clearly tells us, Fatima and Medjugorje has Scriptural foundation.

Coming up below is the third apparition of Fatima, as given by account of Fatima visionary Lucia dos Santos. Like the Medjugorje message above, the Fatima message below tells us, rosary prayer obtains peace for the world and can also stop wars. In Medjugorje message January 25, 2001, the Virgin says, “I repeat to you: only through prayer and fasting also wars can be stopped.” In the Fatima message the Lady tell us that our sacrifices and prayers help sinners and when we offer sacrifice we should say as written in the Fatima message below, "Jesus it is for the love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in the reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.” In the Medjugorje message above we learn, Our Lady has come with desire to save souls (sinners.) In the Fatima message below, we find the Lady says, “Sacrifice yourselves for sinners…” All wrapped up, we find the Medjugorje and Fatima messages are much the same in thought and nature.

Fatima visionary Lucia also goes on in the Fatima message below to describe her frightening vision of hell. After Lucia sees the vision of hell, Our Lady tells Lucia, "You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart." However in the Medjugorje message above we do not find the recommended devotion of the Immaculate Heart but instead we are invited to find the Sacred Scripture meant for us.” The Medjugorje message does not say, the “Sacred Scriptures” as in plural form but it says “Scripture” as in singular form. This again tells us, there is one bible passage related to Medjugorje. The conclusion would seem to follow that, it is with the Immaculate Heart, the salvation of many sinners will come.

The Scripture about Medjugorje must be hidden or overlooked because the Medjugorje message tells us, we must discover it. We should also note in the Fatima message below that, having talked to Lucia about the importance of prayer, fasting and sacrificing for the salvation of sinners, the Lady of the Rosary shows Lucia a vision of hell and speaks of future punishments to the world. The 10 Medjugorje secrets we know are warnings and punishments because of worldly sin. So at Fatima the Virgin warns of the punishment to come and in Medjugorje the visionaries are receiving 10 secrets of punishment. This once again seems to connect the Fatima and Medjugorje apparitions. This would also explain why The Queen of Peace said in the August 25, 1991 message of Medjugorje, “…with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled.” The long and short is, the Medjugorje messages above and the Fatima message you will read below, come together like pieces of a puzzle assembled.

(Lucia) "What do you want of me?" (Lady) 'I want you to come here on the 13th of next month, to continue to pray the Rosary every day in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, in order to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war, because only she can help you.' (Lucia) "I would like to ask you to tell us who you are, and to work a miracle so that everybody will believe that you are appearing to us." (Lady) 'Continue to come here every month. In October, I will tell you who I am and what I want and I will perform a miracle for all to see and believe." Here Lucia makes some requests which she does not recall. The Lady said it was necessary for such people to pray the Rosary in order to obtain these graces during the year.' (Lady) 'Sacrifice yourselves for sinners and say many times, especially whenever you make some sacrifice: “O Jesus it is for the love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in the reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”

At this time the Lady opened her hands once more and Lucia writes; and the rays of light seemed to penetrate the earth, and we saw as it were a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. (It must have been this sight which caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me.) The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coal. Terrified and as if to plead for succors, we looked up at the Lady, who said to us, so kindly and so sadly:

(Lady) 'You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I ask, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. “The war is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another, even worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. 'To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.'

'If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world. In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved; etc.… Do not tell this to anyone.' (Lucia) "To Francisco?" (Note: Francisco was one of the 3 Fatima visionaries but he was only able to see the Lady. He could not hear Her words) (Lady) 'Yes, you may tell him. The Lady continued “when you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery, ‘O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need.’ ”

Note 1: In parts of the last two paragraphs above, the Lady talks about Russia. The prophecy came true as the Holy Father finally did consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart. As a result, Russia was prevented from taking peace away from the world. I personally believe part of the plan to take away peace from the world related to the “Cuban Missile Crisis.” The Cuban Missile Crisis took place in October 1962, during the John F. Kennedy administration. Even though this nightmare was stopped before the Holy Father’s Consecration of Russia, I do believe the missile crisis was part of the events the Lady of Fatima spoke of. Much later when His Holiness John Paul II consecrated the Immaculate Heart to Russia, after his assassin attempt, shortly afterwards the Berlin Wall came down, Russia was in financial ruin, and Soviet Russian Leader, Mikhail Gorbachev began new programs called perestroika (government reform) and glasnost (openness). The practice of religious freedom were once again restored to communist Russia. The Russian people who hid their religious beliefs behind close doors of communist Russia, today practice freedom of religion. The Immaculate Heart of Mary triumphed, even as 3 small poor uneducated children from Fatima, Portugal said it would. Here I am again reminded of what Alfred Kingon tells us Pope John Paul stated, he (John Paul) did not himself save Poland but Mary and Medjugorje did.

Note 2: Russia does not appear in any of the Queen of Peace messages. The word Russian appears once in an early October 1981 message which say’s, “The Russian people will be the people who will glorify God the most. Regarding the West: the West has made civilization progress, but without God, as if they were their own creators.” The Fatima prophecies from 1917 are amazing predictions come true that today no one can argue with. The freedom of religion in Russia has been embraced by many Russians and continues to this day. It is also true the West (America) has made amazing technological advancements and turned its face away from God.

Removing God in the West has roots in the “Separation of Church and State.” (note: detailed “Separation of Church and State,” info will be added at the bottom of this article). The “Separation of Church and State” was written in the constitution by our forefathers. Its original meaning was to announce that regardless of a person’s religious beliefs, each person has a right to be part of civil society. The original meaning of “separation of Church and State” as noted by Thomas Jefferson, was not a declaration saying the entity of the State is not religious. However, during the presidential campaign between John F. Kennedy and Richard M. Nixon in the 1960’s, a top political forum and platform of the day was a reevaluation of the meaning of “Separation of Church and State.” I recall at least one speech Kenney gave where he stated, “I am for the “Separation of Church and State.” During Kennedy's administration, the Supreme Court reevaluated the meaning of “Separation of Church and State” and handed down a judgment stating our forefathers meaning is, “Separation of Church and State exists because the Church is religious and the State is not.” The next day on the front cover of the New York Time only three words appeared in bold print, “GOD IS DEAD.” One quick look at the condition of the United States today and it is seriously clear what happens to a civil society when religious morals and discipline are removed. Ending note: All known predictions from the 1917 Fatima Prophecies have come true, including how the West would turn away from God while making civilization progress. Computers, DVD, iPods, iPhones are prime examples of the technological advances of the West. The reclassification of "Separation of Church and State" by the Supreme Court has become an ongoing debatable nightmare. Today we are living Our Lady prophecy, "...Regarding the West: the West has made civilization progress, but without God, as if they were their own creators"

Returning to the June 25, 1991 Medjugorje message again, Our Lady recommends we look for the Scripture meant for us, “If you pray, God will help you to discover the true reason for my coming. Therefore, little children, pray and read the Sacred Scriptures so that through my coming you discover the message in Sacred Scripture for you…” I repeat again “Sacred Scripture” is written in the singular form. This tells us there is a Scripture that in fact relates to both the Fatima and Medjugorje apparitions. I repeat, the Scripture must be hidden or overlooked because Our Lady tells us we must discover it. We need look at both apparitions and seek things that could relate to Scripture. One possibility can be found in Revelation Chapter 12.

“A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.”

In both apparitions Fatima and Medjugorje, there were and are most unusual events involving the sun. In Revelation 12, we also find a woman surrounded by unusual events of the sun. In Fatima, we have the miracle of the Sun on Oct. 13, 1917, and in Medjugorje many pilgrims experience many different unusual events related to the sun. In Medjugorje, the Queen of Peace appears with a crown of 12 stars. In Revelation 12, we find this woman clothed with the sun also has a crown of 12 stars. If anyone wonders why 12 stars, it is likely to represent the original 12 tribes of Israel. We also find in Rev. 12, the woman is being pursued by the dragon. The word dragon opens up a Pandora’s Box of possible literal or symbolic translation. However in Rev. 12-9 we find …”The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” This tells who the dragon in Revelation 12 really is. It is also an interesting note in Revelation Chapter 12 that the serpent is cast down to earth with his angels. Why would the dragon be cast down to earth when verse one of Revelation 12 says; the woman is in Heaven? The only reason the dragon would cast down to earth would be to seek out and destroy this woman and devour her child. This all suggests, the woman in Revelation Chapter 12, verse 1 (who was in heaven) must now be on the earth. This is confirmed in Rev. 12 verses 13 through 16.

"When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth."

In verse 13 we find, the woman in heaven is now on earth as the dragon is hurled to the earth and is pursuing the woman, who has given birth to a male child. Also these scriptures clearly note, the woman in verse one who was in heaven is now on earth. Before the dragon is able to swallow her up and destroy her, she is given wings to fly to a safe place out of the reach of the dragon. Revelation verse 17 continue to explain how the dragon will make war against the woman he could not swallow up. Then, "the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commandments and hold fast their testimony about Jesus." Could these offspring be those who live the messages of Medjugorje who Our Lady calls, "Dear Children...?"

Unable to capture and swallow up the woman, in great anger, the dragon went to wage war with the offspring of this woman. Verse seventeen tells us these children are those who keep God’s Commandants and holds fast to the testimony of Jesus. This is the last line in Chapter 12 of Revelation. This last line also reveals a great deal. First, the woman is not capable of having so many biological children as those who attempt to keep the Commandments and give testimony to Jesus. So we know from this Scripture the children mentioned are not biological and the meaning of this Scripture is more symbolic. The only reasonable explanation if these children are not biological is, the children are the adopted spiritual children of the woman. Before giving any message in Medjugorje, the Queen of Peace always starts Her messages with, “Dear children.” So in Revelation 12 we find this woman’s children are pursued by the serpent of old and in Medjugorje, Our Lady calls those who believe in Her, “Dear children.” Fatima, Medjugorje and Scripture continue to come together like a well hidden and guarded puzzle.

There is an interesting note in a Message Our Lady of Medjugorje gave that again confirms what is written above, even including The Commandments.

May 25, 2010. “Dear children! God gave you the grace to live and to defend all the good that is in you and around you, and to inspire others to be better and holier; but satan, too, does not sleep and through "modernism" (Medjugorje message) diverts you and leads you to his way. Therefore, little children, in the love for my "Immaculate Heart," (Asked devotional in Fatima Message) love God above everything and live His Commandments. (Scripture Rev. 12:17) In this way, your life will have meaning and peace will rule on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

The question we have to ask here is, who is the woman the serpent hates so much that he seeks to destroy Her and all who call themselves Her children, who live the Commandments and give testimony to Jesus? I repeat, in Medjugorje, the Queen of Peace appears with a crown of 12 stars as does the woman in Revelation 12. The apparitions in Medjugorje have been under countless evil attacks since the beginning. We who believe in Medjugorje have witnessed these attacks from many different forces and directions for many years. In many Medjugorje messages, The Queen of Peace speaks how satan is trying to destroy Her plans as satan also seeks to do in Revelation 12. Could it be we who believe in Our Lady of Medjugorje are in fact the spiritual children who stand with Our Lady, even in times of battle? Are we the children who offer prayer, fasting and renunciation as our weapons, as Our Lady asked of us in Her Medjugorje messages? Revelation Chapter 12 says, the dragon seeks to destroy the Lady and Her children. In countless Medjugorje messages Our Lady tells us satan is trying to destroy what She is attempting to do in Medjugorje. There is no question that the Medjugorje apparitions are under attack. There is no question those who believe in the Medjugorje apparitions are under attack. The serpent of old who is called devil and satan seeks to destroy the Queen of Peace who just may well be the woman with a crown of 12 stars as written in Rev. 12-1) and Her children (as written in Rev. 12-17,) "...who keep The Commandments and give testimony to Jesus." Why is satan (who is also known as devil and dragon and serpent,) so obsessed over destroying the woman in Revelation 12 and Her children? Why is satan so obsessed over destroying Medjugorje as Our Lady has told us in hundreds of messages? In Medjugorje the Lady is titled "The Queen of Peace," but the name of the woman in Revelation 12 is unknown. Can we prove the woman in Revelation 12 is the Virgin Mary who is also The Lady of the Rosary at Fatima and The Queen of Peace in Medjugorje?

Genesis Chapter 3 verses 14 – 15. Having deceived Adam and Eve, God speaks to the serpent saying;

“Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity (hatred) between you and the woman, and between your offspringand hers; he will crushyour head, and you will strike his heel.”

In these Genesis verses, we find the person satan hates the most, is a woman. In Genesis Chapter 3, we find this woman will not be deceived by the serpent as was Eve in the “Garden of Eden.” So the woman who the serpent hates will be a woman he can not deceive. If the serpent can not deceive her, all that is left is to try and destroy her. This woman would have to be the beginning of reconciliation back to God, even as Eve is the beginning of disobedience away from God. This would also clearly be the reason why the serpent would hate the woman because, above all things this woman desires to bring poor souls back to God through reconciliation. To this we add the August 25, 1991 Queen of Peace message and we have, “…I call you, dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized.” It seems we are fighting a battle of souls with the help of the Our Lady Queen of Peace. She asks we offer prayer, fasting and renunciation, so poor souls may be saved and presented to God.

Some people may say there is no proof that this woman written about in Genesis or in Revelation 12 is the Virgin Mary. The answer to this is found in Luke Chapter One. Even for the sake of argument instead of using a Catholic bible I will quote from the King James Version.

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, so the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail.” “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled?” Then the angel left her.

Here we pull out key words From Luke Chapter One; this will show why only Mary can be the woman in Genesis and Revelation 12.

The angel calls Mary “highly favored,” and the Angel tells Mary, “The Lord is with you.” The Angel tells Mary, “you have found favor with God,” and that Mary will conceive a son who shall be called, “The Son of God,” and the “Son of the Most High.” Mary accepts to be the Mother of God’s Son, and Mary replies to the angel, “I am the Lord’s servant.” These key words show us that Mary was favored above any other woman. Therefore, Mary alone is worthy of such a crown as She is never deceived by the serpent. So the crown of the woman in Revelations 12 and the woman spoken of in Genesis could only be Mary because She alone is highly favored above all other woman.

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to Her!”

Elizabeth and her unborn child (by way of the Holy Spirit) knows Mary has received a great blessing from God. Elizabeth shouts out, “Blessed are you among woman.” This tells us once again that Mary is blessed among all other woman, throughout the history of creation. Only such a woman deserves the title “Queen” and only such a woman is worthy to wear the crown of 12 stars.

“My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, Holy is his name. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.”

Mary is mentioned by name in Luke Chapter One as the most favored of all woman. She is prophesized in Genesis Chapter 3 verses 14 – 15 as the only woman who will not be deceived by the serpent. In Revelations 12, Mary is the only woman worthy to wear the crown of 12 stars, even as she now appears in Medjugorje with that same crown of 12 stars. Mary is the beginning of reconciliation back to God and Her mission in Fatima is to bring peace and save souls. In Medjugorje, Mary is "the Queen of Peace come," to save souls through Her most Immaculate Heart. Mary is here for the sake of poor souls that could be lost to the evil one. The evil one who seeks ruin of all Mary's children. Mary desires, like God, that not one poor soul be lost to the wolves who devour or the evils that seek ruin. For this cause, Mary has come to Medjugorje and invites us (Her children) to unite with Her in prayer, fasting, and renunciation that with the sacrifices we offer, the poor in spirit are saved. Otherwise, poor souls will be swallowed up by the serpent, the great wolf that seeks to lead the little lamb to slaughter, into the fires of hell.

Ending, there is substantial evidence showing connections between Fatima, Medjugorje and Scripture. I believe Medjugorje is the fulfillment of Fatima. I repeat, since the beginning, Medjugorje believers have been under great persecution by those who secretly seek to stop apparitions all together, because they do not believe in apparitions. Today in efforts to destroy Mary and Her children, many "Modernists" seek to remove Mary from the Dogma of the Church. These efforts stand opposed by formation of such counter groups as "The Marian Movement of Priests." The evil majority rule seeking modern ways, do not think God like but seek after their own self image. As one example, these would be rulers speak the word of God with their lips, yet they also claim, birth control and abortions are also acceptable, in the eyes of God. Such thinking is the great deception of satan who seeks ruin of the blessed highly favored Mary, (who he can never deceive) and the destruction of Mary's children who keep the Commandments of God and give testimony to Jesus Christ.

In the end, we who believe in Our Lady and the Medjugorje apparitions know, "The Immaculate Heart of Mary" will triumph because She has never been deceived by the serpent who is also called, dragon, devil, and satan.

"Separation of Church and State" Detailed"

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The Amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting and establishment of religion. This Amendment was debated and challenged many times even in the 17^th century. Even so, the wording of the First Amendment gave rise to Thomas Jefferson’s letter in 1802. The wording (in part) is,

“Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘Make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.”

The above phrasing first appeared within the Supreme Court in 1878 as a result of a court case. The concept of challenging “Separation of Church and State,” continues in the court system today.

Exactly how did the Supreme Court come to these words and why did they give rise to Jefferson’s letter? The answer to this question is found in the United States Constitution in the Bill of Rights in the first 16 words of Amendment One, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

Apparently vague or at least open to debate, many cases appeared before the courts as religious fractions of individuals made argument. These arguments allowed a twisting of the meaning of the First Amendment as we find in cases such as Everson vs. Board of Education 1947, which was a landmark decision for its time.

During his campaign the issues of defining the meaning of the First Amendment which was now firmly accepted as “Separation of Church and State,” Kennedy gave many speeches as a Catholic on this topic. On September 12, 1960 Kennedy gave a speech as followed.

“I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute- where no Catholic prelate would tell the President (should he be Catholic) how to act, and no Protestant minister would tell his parishioners for whom to vote-where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference-and where no man is denied public office merely because his religions differs from the President who might appoint him or the people who might elect him. I believe in an America that is officially neither Catholic, Protestant nor Jewish-where no public official either request of accepts instruction on public policy from the Pope, the National Council of Churches or any other ecclesiastical source-where no religious body seeks to impose its will directly or indirectly upon the general populace or the public acts of its officials-and where religious liberty is so indivisible that an act against one church is treated as an act against all […] I do not speak for my church on public matters-and the church does not speak for me. Whatever issue may come before me as President-on birth control, divorce, censorship, gambling or any other subject-I will make my decision in accordance with these views, in accordance with what my conscience tell me to be the national interest, and without regard to outside religious pressures or dictates. And no power or threat of punishment could cause me to decide otherwise. But if the time should overcome- and I do not concede any conflict to be even remotely possible-when my office would require me to either violate my conscience or violate the national interest, than I would resign the office: and I hope any conscientious public servant would do the same. “

The Constitution was signed in 1787. The Fist Amendment (along with the rest of the Bill of Rights) was submitted to the States for ratification on September 25, 1789, and adopted on December 15, 1791. During the campaign of John F. Kennedy (1960) the First Amendment of the Constitution of the Bill of Rights was still a debatable unresolved issue. After the election of President Kennedy the Supreme Court considered the original writings of the Constitution. The First Amendment was considered to mean, “Separation of Church and State.” The Supreme Courts finding stated the meaning of our forefathers writing of the First Amendment was to say, The Church is religious and the State is not.” This was the beginning of sorrows in the United States which started the next day with the words, “GOD IS DEAD,” on the New York Times. This was not, is not now and never will be a true definition of what our forefathers meant.

Even Thomas Jefferson who wrote the letter of the “Wall of Separation,” was a profoundly religious man. The founding fathers who signed the Constitution and the Pilgrims who came to this new land (that today we call, New England as opposed to old England) were all religious. These religious men believed in God and in the First Amendment writing, they felt they had no rights to involve themselves in matters of God. Yet the Supreme Court in 1966 redefined the meaning of the first Amendment to mean, “The Church is religious and the State is not.”

The Supreme Court for whatever reason chooses to open a door that never existed in the first place. Today as a result, one need only look at prayer removed from school, lack of morals and discipline in our country that is in such a mess, it may not be fixable.

There is much debate of if the words, “Separation of Church and State” appear in the Constitution or not. This question is really splitting hairs. No matter how we read it, these words, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” means, there is a separation of Church and State. Again we find in the letter written by Thomas Jefferson that he concurs.

The Pilgrims came here to escape religious persecution in England. The Pilgrims sort a new land where each person would have freedom of worship without persecution. Even so, the people still had to establish a State with rights and laws to govern fairly. In part, the State chooses not to favor one religion over another, yet agree that all people should have the right to be members of civil society. However, debating for hundreds of years, lead to the Supreme Courts decision in 1966, which again states; what our forefather meant by the First Amendment is, “Congress shall make no law respecting and establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” really means, “The Church is religious and the State is not.”

I am a decent of Francis Eaton who was a passenger on the Pilgrim ship Mayflower. She also signed “The Mayflower Compact,” in 1620. I still live only a few miles from Plymouth, Massachusetts where the Pilgrims landed and made their new home. Each summer I still visit all the family graves cleaning them and praying for the departed. My point is, I take my heritage and family history seriously and the Constitution would also therefore apply.

I hope this article explains the meaning of "Separation of Church State." The actual wording of “Separation of Church and State” does not physically appear in the Amendment word for word, yet what exists in the Amendment says the same thing as “Separation of Church and State,” This fact has been noted by countless sources throughout History including Thomas Jefferson and confirmed by the Supreme Court. Even so, the actual meaning of what our forefathers intended to address is not the same meaning as the finding of the Supreme Court in 1966.
