Advent is the season leading up to the celebration of the birth of Christ. Advent begins four Sundays prior to "The Nativity," on December 25th. The Season is mostly a Western tradition. The four weeks of reflection is an reenactment of remembering thousands of years God's people were anticipated with longing, for the coming of the promised Savior. The translation of the word "advent" itself means, the coming. Advent is also the preparation for the "Second Coming of Christ," by commemorating the "First Coming of Christ, at Christmas.

It is traditional at this time of season to offer  "The Joyful Mysteries:" Mondays, Saturdays & Sundays of Advent
