Chapter 7

Before we start this month’s article I need add an update from last month’s article. Last month I mentioned the seriousness of the war in Iraq and how the cost of this war is not only costing American lives but destroying the U.S. economy turning America into a possible third world nation. The recent political elections sent a clear message to President Bush that we have had enough of the war. Bush responded by making Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld step down. Bush said that he would soon speak to the American people about a change in policy in Iraq.

I no longer wonder what Bush is thinking, I am now wondering if he is thinking at all. Removing the Secretary of Defense accomplished nothing as Bush clearly is not hearing the American people to which he has pledged office to support. Bush’s response to the American people was to do the exact opposite and announce the deployment of another 2100 troops to Iraq. This is a cost of another 6 billion dollars that are economy is truly unable to support, not to mention this will undoubtedly lead to the death of more American troops. As if this is not enough, Bush took it upon himself to escalate the war which is already a lost cause as it was from the very beginning. During his address, President Bush announced that Iran and Syria are to blames for the continued conflict in Iraq as they are supplying arms and support to terrorists in Iraq. America already is beyond its limits to deal with the war in Iraq. Many U.S. troops there now are on their second, third and forth tour duty. Now Bush is sending fighting words to Iran and Syria when we do not even have enough troops to make progress in Iraq. George Bush has gone mad and we the American people are left to eat the destruction he has and continues to create.

For this cause I am highly recommend that this month everyone offer as many Divine Mercy Chaplets as possible. Without the Mercy of God, I do not see any hope.

With all that being said this month’s article is another grave concern that is long in the making. Even so, before I continue the reader needs to understand that though these articles on the Signs of the Times are gloom and doom we should not think we are without hope. Romans 5:3-5 tells us, “Rejoice over tribulation knowing tribulation becomes endurance and endurance become tried virtue and tried virtue become hope and hope never disappoints for the charity of God is poured forth into our hearts by the Holy Spirit that is given us.”

Even though the articles on Signs of the Time could make one feel depressed and hopeless based on what has been written so far, we must never loose hope. If we lose hope we lose it all. The Mercy of God is far more powerful than man and this is why I recommend as much prayer as possible. When time and place are in order with the Goodness of God, He will hear the cries of those in bondage and will set us free from the evil that seeks our ruin. It may well take the Medjugorje warning signs and chastisements to make correction to this world that is hell bent but come what may remember we the faithful never have anything to fear. All we the faithful need do is pray and trust with faith in the hope that will never disappoint us. 

And it will cause all, the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the free and the bond, to have a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads and it will bring it about that no one may be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, either the name of the beast of the number of its name.

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased.

Chapter 7

I think this is a Scripture people often misinterpret. People often think that Daniel is simply told not to write about, where as in fact he did write of it. Daniel was told to and the keyword here is to “seal” up the book…. Through different periods of history it was common to take wax and place it on letters to keep content from curious eyes. Once wax was applied to the enclosed letter a seal was applied to the hot wax. If the seal was broken, the bearer would know the writing inside had been violated. The symbol on the wax indicated the person who had sent the letter as the seal pressed in hot wax was a symbol that belonged only to the person who wrote the letter.

Symbolism may long be something that extends to the Garden of Eden, where in the center of the garden stood a tree that symbolized all God wished Adam and Eve to avoid. Every culture throughout the ages has had symbols that represent their beliefs. Companies today have logos which are symbols by which we recognize the products we buy. As I sit here now I’m look at the monitor and it says, “HP” written in a circle that appears similar to the human eye. By looking at this symbol I know it mean Hewlett Packard. The computer has a tag on it that say’s Pentium 4, on this symbol I see the words “intel inside” again circled in what appears to the shape of a human eye. If I were to ask you the reader to think of the internet service provider AOL, the first thing that would come in mind would be the shape of a pyramid, where once again, we find what appears to be a human eye inside. Now think about the CBS TV channel symbol, interesting enough it again appears as to resemble the human eye. When is the last time you visited a Dairy Queen? Next time you do, note the logo as well is in the shape of a human eye. Now take a U.S. dollar bill out of your pocket and turn the bill over to the back side. Eye catching as it is one quickly notes a pyramid with a human eye. There would seem to be some fascination with the symbol of the human eye in these and other cases as well, or just maybe there is more to it than if you will excuse the pun, meets the eye.

 During the time of the development of the dollar bill, the design was said to have a new specific meaning. We also find that often time the application of a symbol can be traced back to a previous historical event, happening and or belief. Rather than discuss modern day concept when interpreting the symbolism on the dollar bill, we are going to trace back the history of the symbols. Unlike seeing a logo from the products we associate symbols with today, few people have ever dug into the depths of the symbolism on the dollar bill. So this is the goal of this month’s article.

The pyramid on the dollar bill with the eye above it has nothing to do with American History or even the history of the Pilgrims that came to this new land from England. The pyramid is an Egyptian symbol as is the eye we see above it, on the dollar bill. A pyramid is a monument where the Pharaoh’s or if you will the great kings of Egypt would be placed upon their death so they could continue on into the afterlife. The Eye we find above the pyramid is the Eye of Horus, originally called the Eye of Ra. It symbolized royal power. The ancients strongly believed this symbol of indestructibility would assist in rebirth.

Ra was the Egyptian sun god who was also often referred to as Re-Horakhty, meaning  Horus of the Horizon, referring to the god's character. The early Egyptians believed that he created the world, and the rising sun was, for them, the symbol of creation. The daily cycle, as the sun rose, then set only to rise again the next morning, symbolized renewal and so Ra was seen as the paramount force of creation and master of life.

Ra was also believed closely connected to Pharaoh, Egypt's kings. While the king ruled earth, Ra was the master of the universe so they were of the same nature and were in effect a mirror image of each other. It may also be an interesting to note that The Eye of Horus was found under the 12th layer of bandages on Egyptian Tutankhamn’s mummy. Strongly devoted worship to Ra really became very significant during the 5^th Dynasty  when kings not only erected pyramids aligned to the rising and setting sun, but also built solar temples in honor of Ra. The Eye has also been referred to as the “All Seeing Eye” which is reflected by the light that shines in back of the Eye itself on the dollar.

Above the all Seeing Eye we find the words, ANNUIT COEPTIS. Annuit means to nod assent, to favor, to smile upon. Coeptis means undertakings, endeavors, beginnings. Annuit coeptis means "favors (lit., gives the nod to) undertakings." The subject must be supplied. Who favors? The Eye (Providence) does. The verb annuit can be either present tense or perfect tense, therefore an accurate translation of the motto is: "Providence favors our undertakings" or "Providence has favored our undertakings." (The word "our" is supplied.) (It has also been translated as: "He favors our undertakings" or "He has prospered our endeavors.")  The who of course means the all Seeing Eye favors the undertakings. The undertaking of who would be the Federal Reserve as this is the source of the monetary note on which we find this Egyptian symbolism. Even so, if we look at a the old Silver Certificates which was not a Federal Reserve note, we find the pyramid and all Seeing Eye is found on these old and now extinct notes as well. This tells us the Egyptian symbol extends prior to the Federal Reserve note we now use each day of our lives to trade goods.

The Latin on the bottom of this seal say’s NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM.  Novus means: new, young, novel. Ordo means: row, series, order. Seclorum means: of the ages, of the generations, of the centuries. An accurate translation of Novus Ordo Seclorum is "A New Order of the Ages," I clearly recall President Bush Sr. once stating publicly on TV that he was for the “New World Order.” I won’t get into the concepts of the New World Order at this time but for those who choose to do the research online what they will find continues to show a serious concern. As I see the New World Order so also do I see it could easily lead to the Scripture above, “And it will cause all, the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the free and the bond, to have a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads and it will bring it about that no one may be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, either the name of the beast of the number of its name.” Rev. 13:16

On the pyramid itself we find these Roman Numerals MDCCLXXVI which would suggest 1776. We all know the importance and significance of this year in American History. Yet, at the same time there seems to be an undertone worth noting that may well have a hidden numerical value to those letters. What happens if we add up the Roman Numerals together? The Roman’s use the following system D=500, C=100, L=50 X=10 V=5, I=1. The M was in fact not used until later considering especially the period of time the Roman’s powered the earth. Now if we take the numbers D and C we have 600 if we add L and X we have 60 and if we add VI we have six. Ultimately adding the Roman Numerals as they would appear during the time of the Roman era it totals 666.

This leads us back to the Scripture above only this time I will add verse 17, And it will cause all, the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the free and the bond, to have a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads and it will bring it about that no one may be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, either the name of the beast of the number of its name. Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: and its number is six hundred and sixty-six. Rev. 13:16-17.

One thing I find most interesting in verse 17 in  Rev. Chapter 13 is the Scripture tells us it is a number of a man but does not go on to say HIS number but instead say’s ITS number. This does not necessary suggest that IT is a person. Scripture only tells us something has a number of a man and the number is 666 but that something is not a man but an IT or this verse also calls IT a beast. There is one thing for certain and that is Chapter 13 of Revelations certain is all about the Beast of the Sea and the Earth. Revelations 12 described a Red Dragon the same way as does Chapter 13 offer the description of the beast from the sea. Chapter 12 and 13 clearly tell us the Dragon and the Beast of the Sea are either the same or related as they are described exactly the same. Rev 12:9 tells us, “and that great dragon was cast down, the ancient serpent, he who is called the devil and satan, who leads astray the whole world… This verse suggests that satan was cast down to the earth and could well be the beast of the sea. At any rate the beast of the sea gives authority and might to the beast of the earth. The beast of the earth has such power that it causes every tribe, people tongue and nation to worship the beast. Rev. 13-7-8.  This leads us back to “And it will cause all, the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the free and the bond, to have a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads and it will bring it about that no one may be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, either the name of the beast of the number of its name. Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: and its number is six hundred and sixty-six”. Rev. 13:16-17.

What we know from this is no one on earth will be able to purchase a measure of food with a coin. The only means one will be able to buy goods will be if they have the mark of the beast on their right hand or foreheads. This in return gets back into a previous chapter in Signs of the Times, which introduced micro-chips and how they are being used today although there may be some merit to considering credit cards as the “Mark of the Beast.” The end result to all of this is the world will be in such a state that money will be of no value and the world entire will be controlled by the beast of the earth. This tells us the worldwide monetary system will collapse affecting the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the free and the bond.

On the left hand side of the back of the dollar bill we find another image that most would call the American eagle. This is not an Eagle but in fact is entitled, The Phoenix. Once again we find ourselves back into Egyptian culture. This mythological bird symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death. In ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology, it is associated with the sun god. In Ancient Egypt the phoenix was a symbol of the solar cycle. The Phoenix symbol on the right side of the dollar only brings us back to the Egyptian Sun God Ra on the left side of the dollar bill.  In short the symbols on the back of the U.S. dollar bill clearly show a long history of symbolism dating back to ancient Egyptian ideology.  So once again we today have to ask ourselves about logos we see every day yet do not really think about like the HP computer in front of me, the Pentium 4, CBS, Dairy Queen and AOL symbols which offer a few examples.

Symbols can often put something right in front of our eyes that the eye will not see, much like the article in Signs of the Times done earlier discussing the Slight of Hand and the Magic of now you see it, now you don’t. Even as we consider the possibility of modern days symbolism that may well represent Egyptian icons, there are other logo that may also be worth consideration. We all know the number 13 has roots in satanic cults of sorts. I am by no means suggesting that the following companies have any relation with such cults but would like to bring to the readers attention of a couple of company logo worth looking at. Next time you pass an Arby’s or McDonalds imagine rotating the sign one time to the left. In doing so you will find the Arby’s and McDonald logos become the number 13.

Next month’s will prove even more interesting as I continue the journey into symbolism. Beside the U.S. dollar bill which has Egyptian seals, there are other organizations which also use the pyramid as a symbol of their beliefs. In the next chapter we will go deeper into the likely roots of the dollar bill as we discover the most powerful society on the earth that can be traced back to some members who signed the U.S. Constitution back to the history of ancient Egypt and may well have control over not only the dollar bill but the world economy.

Recently I talked with one member of one powerful society who said to me, “We are not a secret society, we are a society with secrets.” I didn’t quite grasp his meaning so he explained that information on this society can be found even at the Library of Congress so this does not make them a secret society but it makes them a society with secrets. From this I understood what he meant. I personally do know a fair about this particular society. I grew up around it all my life though I myself never entered it. I will share what I know about it and add the history as it predating Christ.
